On Friday, 28 August 2026, in the Republic of Singapore, H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), completed his participation in the 2nd Strategic Leadership and Public Governance Programme for Senior Cambodian Officials.
The programme brought together 30 senior Cambodian leaders from 20 ministries and agencies and was conducted over five days through briefings, exchanges of experience, and site visits. The programme focused on Singapore’s whole-of-government approach to economic growth, digitalisation, and human resource management.
On this occasion, both sides also exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation, particularly in renewable energy, food security, and the digital economy. The programme contributed to strengthening personal ties among public officers of both countries and further promoting the long-standing friendship between Cambodia and Singapore, which dates back to 1965.
