H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), co-chaired a meeting of the four Sectoral Technical Committees of the Legal Reform Committee to review and discuss the Draft Sub-Decree on the Classification and Description of Legal Professional Positions.

On the morning of Thursday, 8 October 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), and H.E. Bun Hon, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Sectoral Technical Committee responsible for Security, Public Order and National Defense, co-chaired a meeting of the four Sectoral Technical Committees of the Legal Reform Committee to review and discuss the Draft Sub-Decree on the Classification and Description of Legal Professional Positions.

The meeting aimed to consult on the classification and description of two legal professional positions, namely the Legal Affairs Professional Position and the Legislative Affairs Professional Position.

The meeting was attended by Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, Mr., and Ms., members, leaders, and support teams of the Sectoral Technical Committees responsible for Economic, Finance and Technology; Security, Public Order and National Defense; Public Administration and International Law; and Social Affairs, Culture and Environment under the Legal Reform Committee, as well as relevant stakeholders.
