On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, a meeting was co-chaired by H.E. Ly Chantola

Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of the LRC, and Vice-President and Head of Working Group 2 of the Legal Council—alongside H.E. Nou Bonnorn, Vice-President of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC).

The meeting aimed to review and discuss the draft Sub-Decree on Transitional Penalties for Violations of the Law on Construction.

The meeting was attended by their Excellencies, members of the Legal Council, the Economic, Social and Cultural Council, legal experts from the Legal Reform Committee, and all relevant stakeholders.
