On the afternoon of Friday, August 7, 2026, at the General Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice President, and Secretary-General of the LRC, chaired an internal meeting to discuss the guidelines on drafting Prakas, Inter-Ministerial Prakas, and Joint Prakas for ministries and institutions. The meeting was accompanied by H.E. Pen Bunchhea, Deputy Secretary-General of the LRC, alongside legal experts from the General Secretariat.
This meeting was convened to form working groups to gather additional inputs to develop comprehensive drafting guidelines. This effort aligns with the high-level directives of H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Chairman of the Jurists Council, and Chairman of the LRC, given during a restricted inter-ministerial meeting on the morning of August 7, 2026.
