His Excellency LY Chantola Attends the Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventh Legislature of the National Assembly On the morning of Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the National Assembly Palace, His Excellency LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), attended the Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventh Legislature of the National Assembly, presided over by Samdech Maha Rathsaphea Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly.

The plenary session was convened to deliberate and approve five agenda items: (1) the vote of confidence on the appointment of one additional member of the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Excellency Prak Samoeun, as Senior Minister in Charge of Special Missions; (2) the draft law on the approval of the Kingdom of Cambodia’s accession to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol thereto on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment; (3) the draft law on the approval of the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Mutual Recognition Arrangements; (4) the draft law on the approval of the ASEAN Sectoral Mutual Recognition Arrangement for Building and Construction Materials; and (5) the draft law on the approval of the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Arrangement on Type Approval for Automotive Products.

The plenary session was also attended by Samdech, Members of the Royal Family, Their Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, Members of the National Assembly, and senior leaders from relevant institutions.
