On the afternoon of Wednesday, 17 June 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), chaired a discussion meeting with national and international speakers in preparation for the seminar on the development of a Commercial Code for Cambodia.
The meeting was attended by legal experts from the General Secretariat of the LRC and five invited speakers, including one national speaker and four international speakers: H.E Sum Sokhumpho, Secretary of State in Charge of Border Affairs, Ms. Elizabeth Catta, Dr. Anne Sophie Millard, Mr. Issei Sakano, and Mr. Kazunaki Takahashi.
The meeting was organized with the objective of making the necessary preparations for the upcoming seminar on the development of a Commercial Code for Cambodia. It provided an opportunity for participants to exchange views, discuss key substantive issues, and coordinate the contributions of national and international experts to ensure the successful organization of the seminar.
The meeting was attended by legal experts from the General Secretariat of the LRC, as well as other relevant national and international stakeholders.
