On the morning of Wednesday, 8 July 2026, at the National Assembly Palace, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), participated in a meeting with the National Assembly’s specialized commissions to discuss the draft law on Cambodia’s accession to international conventions relating to aircraft equipment.
The meeting was held with the National Assembly’s Commission on Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Information (Commission No. 5), chaired by H.E. Suos Yara, in collaboration with the National Assembly’s Commission on Public Works, Transport, Civil Aviation, Posts, Telecommunications, Industry, Science, Technology, Innovation, Mines, Energy, Commerce, Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (Commission No. 9), chaired by Lok Chumteav Nin Saphon. The meeting was also attended by representatives of other specialized commissions of the National Assembly, as well as representatives of the Royal Government led by H.E. Dr. Mao Havannall, Minister in Charge of the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation.
The purpose of the meeting was to review and discuss the Draft Law on the Approval of the Kingdom of Cambodia’s Accession to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the National Assembly’s specialized commissions and representatives of the Royal Government.
