On the morning of Monday, 22 June 2026, at the Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), chaired a discussion meeting with Cambodian speakers in preparation for the seminar on the development of a Commercial Code for Cambodia.
The meeting was attended by legal experts from the General Secretariat of the LRC and representatives of the invited speakers, including H.E. Mrs. Tan Tep Kanika, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce; Ms. Yon Yary, representing H.E. Buon Saramony, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce; and Mr. Meng Nimol, representative of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting was organized with the objective of making the necessary preparations for the upcoming seminar on the development of a Commercial Code for Cambodia. Participants exchanged views and discussed key issues related to the content and organization of the seminar to ensure its successful implementation.
The meeting was also attended by legal experts from the General Secretariat of the LRC, together with other relevant stakeholders.
