On the afternoon of Friday, 12 June 2026, at the Secretariat-General of the Legal Reform Committee, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman of the Council of Jurists, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), chaired a meeting to review and discuss:
The submission of the Draft Sub-Decree on Measures and Procedures for Financial Inspection (New) to the Office of the Council of Ministers for further processing in the preparation of the draft legal instrument in accordance with the applicable procedures.
A request seeking approval for the Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) to become a member of the International Cable Protection Committee (ICPC).
The Draft Sub-Decree on the Amendment of Annex 1 (Negative List) and Annex 2 (Classification of Investment Activities) of the Sub-Decree on the Implementation of the Law on Investment of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The meeting was convened to review and provide comments on the above proposals and draft legal instruments in order to ensure that the drafting and implementation processes comply with the applicable legal procedures, while contributing to the strengthening of the legal and policy framework governing the finance, telecommunications, and investment sectors in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The meeting was attended by Excellencies, members and alternate members of Working Group No. 2 of the Council of Jurists, as well as officials of the Secretariat-General of the Council of Jurists and other relevant stakeholders.
