H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman of the Council of Jurists, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), co-chaired a technical working meeting to further review and discuss two draft laws concerning regional trade facilitation and the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area.

On the morning of Wednesday, 7 October 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman of the Council of Jurists, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), and H.E. Mam Sarith, Permanent Member and Chairman of Working Group 2 of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council, co-chaired a technical working meeting to further review and discuss: (1) the Draft Law on the Approval of the Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-Border Paperless Trade in Asia and the Pacific; and (2) the Draft Law on the Approval of the Protocol to Amend the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation and Related Agreements between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the People’s Republic of China (ACFTA 3.0 Upgrade Protocol).

The meeting was attended by Excellencies and Lok Chumteavs, Secretaries of State, Undersecretaries of State, members of the Council of Jurists, representatives of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council, and other relevant officials.
