H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), led a meeting of the specialized sectoral commissions of the Legal Reform Committee.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the Office of the Council of
Ministers, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of
Ministers, Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), and H.E. Bun Hun, Secretary of State of the Ministry of
Interior and Chairman of the Specialized Commission in charge of Security,
Public Order, and National Defense, co-led a meeting of the specialized sectoral
commissions of the LRC. The purpose of the meeting was to review and discuss
the Draft Sub-Decree on the Definition and Description of Legal Professional
Positions.
The objective of the meeting was to consult on the definition and description of
two specific legal professional positions:
1. Legislative Affairs Professional Position
2. Legal Affairs Professional Position
The meeting was attended by Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, ladies, and gentlemen
who are members, leaders, and assistant groups of several specialized
commissions, including:
– The Commission for Economy, Finance, and Technology;
– The Commission for Security, Public Order, and National Defense;
– The Commission for Public Administration and International Law;
– The Commission for Social Affairs, Culture, and the Environment of the Legal Reform Committee, along with other relevant stakeholders.
