On the morning of Thursday, 27 August 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, with the permission of H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Deputy-Chairman and Secretary-General of the LRC, H.E. PEN Bunchea, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the LRC, led department leaders, civil servants, and legal experts to attend a lecture on “The Uniform Commercial Code (UCC): Essence and Relevance.”
The lecture was delivered by Dr. PRUM Virak, Chairman of the Board of CamEd Institute, under the high presidency of H.E. Prof. Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Missions and Deputy-Chairman of the LRC.
The lecture aimed to share key knowledge and perspectives related to the Uniform Commercial Code, focusing on its history, structure, core substance, relevance, and important lessons that may be considered for the development of the Commercial Code for Cambodia.
