On the morning of Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), assigned Mr. Meak Seiha, Legal Expert of the Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee, to attend a meeting to review and discuss the Draft Law on Immigration, chaired by H.E. Kean Sattha, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers.
The meeting aimed to review the Draft Law on Immigration and provide inputs and recommendations on its provisions.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Khmer Language Council, the Council of Jurists, the Economic, Social and Cultural Council, as well as representatives of the Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee and other relevant stakeholders.
