His Excellency LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), assigned three legal experts from the General Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee to participate in a national consultative workshop on supporting resilience and competitiveness in Cambodia’s trade sector under the framework of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
On the morning of Wednesday, 13 May 2026, at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh, His Excellency LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), assigned three legal experts from the General Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee to attend a national consultative workshop on supporting resilience and competitiveness in Cambodia’s trade sector under the framework of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
The workshop was chaired by H.E. Professor Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Chairman of the Committee for Trade Policy Advisory.
The workshop was organized to examine policy frameworks aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and resilience of Cambodia’s trade sector, as well as to exchange experiences regarding negotiations for accession as a new member of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership with trade agreement negotiators from Costa Rica.
The workshop was attended by Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, and many national and international stakeholders.
