H.E. Ly Chantola, Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), chaired an internal meeting of the LRC Secretariat to review and monitor the progress of the concept note on the development of Cambodia’s legal system.
On the afternoon of Wednesday , 4 March 2026, at the LRC headquarters, His Excellency Ly Chantola, Deputy-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), presided over an internal meeting of the LRC Secretariat to review, discuss, and follow up on the progress in preparing the conceptual note for the development of Cambodia’s legal system, ensuring greater effectiveness, appropriateness, and alignment with the current socio-economic development context.
The meeting was attended by Legal Consultants of the LRC Secretariat, who presented reports on achievements to date, challenges encountered, and the direction for the next phase of implementation. The discussions aimed to ensure that the conceptual note and related mechanisms are clearly defined, coherent, and practically implementable.
