H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers and Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), attended a meeting as a representative of the Office of the Council of Ministers to discuss cooperation between the legislative and executive branches on planning organization of a seminar aimed at strengthening national resilience, patriotism, and national unity, as well as promoting awareness of the relationship between national security and economic stability.

Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers and Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), attended a meeting as a representative of the Office of the Council of Ministers to discuss cooperation between the legislative and executive branches on planning organization of a seminar aimed at strengthening national resilience, patriotism, and national unity, as well as promoting awareness of the relationship between national security and economic stability.

On the morning of Tuesday, 24 February 2026, at the National Assembly of Cambodia, H.E. Ly Chantola attended a meeting as a representative of the Office of the Council of Ministers to discuss cooperation between the legislative and executive branches on planning the organization of a seminar on the resilience and adaptability of Cambodia’s governance strategy in science, technology, innovation, industry, and trade. The discussion was held with the Commission on Public Works, Transport, Civil Aviation, Posts, Telecommunications, Industry, Science, Technology, Innovation, Mines, Energy, Commerce, Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction (Commission 9) of the National Assembly, led by H.E. Nen Saphon, Chairwoman of Commission 9 of the National Assembly, and H.E. Um Sarith, Chairman of Commission 9 of the Senate. Representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation also participated.
The purpose of organizing the seminar is to:
Strengthen national resilience, patriotism, and national unity;
Promote awareness of the relationship between national security and economic stability;
Formulate policies on legal harmonization and industrial governance strategies, including support for handicrafts and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as Cambodia’s trade independence; and
Enhance awareness of science, innovation, digital technology, digital trade, and artificial intelligence (AI) governance.
