On the morning of Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, His Excellency LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), attended a closed working group meeting on the definition and description of professional positions in legal and legislative affairs.
The meeting aimed to discuss, consult, gather ideas, and provide strategic direction for the development of the definition and description of professional positions in legal and legislative affairs. This included the recruitment, management, and career and professional development of officials in the legal sector of ministries and institutions, both prior to and during their employment, as well as the assessment of work performance based on the established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The meeting was attended by Excellencies, Secretaries of State; Excellencies, Undersecretaries of State; representatives of the Council of Jurists; and all other relevant stakeholders.
