On Monday morning, 3 August 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chair of the Council of Jurists, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), together with H.E. Nov Bonnor, Vice Chair of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council, co-chaired a technical meeting to review and discuss the Draft Sub-Decree on the Management of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones).
The meeting was convened to examine and deliberate on the Draft Sub-Decree on the Management of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones), with a view to establishing an appropriate legal and regulatory framework for the effective management, operation, and oversight of unmanned aircraft systems in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Meak Seha, Legal Expert of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), as well as Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, Secretaries of State, Undersecretaries of State, senior officials, and representatives from relevant ministries, institutions, and other concerned stakeholders.
