H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), assigned Mr. Huor Popithean, Legal Expert of the General Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee, to attend a restricted inter-ministerial meeting to further review and discuss the draft declarations under the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment.

On the morning of Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), assigned Mr. Huor Popithean, Legal Expert of the General Secretariat of the Legal Reform Committee, to attend a restricted inter-ministerial meeting to further review and discuss the draft declarations under the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment.
The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Cheang Vannarith, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers.
The meeting focused on continuing the review and discussion of the draft declarations to be made under the Convention and its Aircraft Protocol, with the aim of ensuring that the proposed declarations are legally sound, consistent with Cambodia’s legal framework, and aligned with the Kingdom’s obligations upon accession to the Convention and its Protocol.
The meeting was also attended by Excellencies, Lok Chumteavs, Secretaries of State, Under Secretaries of State, and representatives of relevant ministries, institutions, and other concerned stakeholders.
