H.E. Ly Chantola, Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), Assigned Legal Consultants of the LRC to Attend a Workshop on Strengthening National Resilience and Adaptability of Cambodia’s Governance Strategy in Science, Technology, Innovation, Industry, and Trade
On the morning of Thursday, 12 March 2026, at the National Assembly Palace, H.E. Ly Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers and Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), assigned Mr. Meak Seyha, Mr. Chantara Romain, and Mr. Neng Seyha, Legal Consultants of the LRC, to attend a workshop on Strengthening National Resilience and Adaptability of Cambodia’s Governance Strategy in Science, Technology, Innovation, Industry, and TradeThe workshop was held under the high presidency of Samdech Moha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly, with the participation as the presiding panel of H.E. Mrs. Nin Saphon, Chairwoman of the National Assembly’s Commission on Public Works, Transport, Civil Aviation, Post, Telecommunications, Industry, Science, Technology, Innovation, Mines, Energy, Commerce, Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (Commission 9); H.E. Oum Sarith, Chairman of the Senate’s Commission on Public Works, Transport, Civil Aviation, Post, Telecommunications, Industry, Science, Technology, Innovation, Mines, Energy, Commerce, Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (Commission 9); H.E. Prof. H.E. Dr. CHHEM Kieth Rethy, Senior Minister in charge of Special Mission and Chairman of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council; H.E. Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications; H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation; and H.E. Mrs. Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce.
The workshop was organized with the objective of discussing and exchanging views on key directions and strategic approaches to strengthen Cambodia’s national resilience and enhance adaptability in the areas of governance, science, technology, innovation, industry, and trade. It also aimed to promote coordination and cooperation among relevant institutions, experts, and stakeholders in order to support sustainable economic and social development and enhance Cambodia’s competitiveness.
Through this workshop, participants also discussed challenges, opportunities, and policy directions related to the development of science, technology, and innovation, which serve as essential foundations for advancing Cambodia’s industrial and trade development in the context of the digital economy and increasing regional and global competition.
