H.E. LY Chantola, Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, Vice Chairman, and Secretary-General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), assigned Mr. Eap Sotheany deputy department directors and legal experts from the General Secretariat of the LRC to attend a Training of Trainers () course on Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA).

On the morning of Monday, 26 October 2026, at Citadines Flatiron Phnom Penh, Mr. Eap Sotheany deputy department directors and legal experts from the General Secretariat of the LRC attended a Training of Trainers  course on Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA), following their assignment by H.E. LY Chantola. On this occasion, H.E. Pech Sokha, Secretary-General of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council and RIA Project Director, delivered the opening remarks. The training also featured two speakers from the United Kingdom and Australia.

The training was attended by Excellencies and Lok Chumteavs, vice chairpersons and members of the Council of Jurists and the Economic, Social and Cultural Council, representatives of the General Secretariat of the LRC, and other relevant stakeholders.
