H.E. LY Chantola, Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), presided over an internal meeting of the LRC Secretariat
On the afternoon of Sunday, 14 December 2025, at Independence Hotel in Preah Sihanouk Province, under the leadership and high guidance of H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Deputy Prime Minister in charge and Minister of the Office of the Council of Ministers, and Chairman of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), H.E. LY Chantola, Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of the LRC, presided over an internal meeting of the LRC Secretariat to review the work achievements of 2025 and to set out the work plans for 2026.
The meeting was attended by H.E. PEN Bunchhea and H.E. SOM Kunthea, Deputy Secretaries General of the LRC, as well as legal experts and officials of the LRC Secretariat.
The meeting aimed to conduct an internal review and discussion, assess the effectiveness of the work achievements accomplished in 2025, outline strategic work plans for continued implementation in 2026, and report to the LRC Annual Meeting.
It should be noted that during this internal meeting of the LRC Secretariat, presentations on the 2025 work achievements and the 2026 work directions were delivered by four departments, namely: the Department of Policy and Planning; the Department of Legal Advisory and Law Implementation Monitoring; the Department of Administration and Finance; and the Department of Public Relations, Public Communication, and Cooperation.
