H.E. LY Chantola, Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of the Legal Reform Committee (LRC), attended the meeting to discuss the draft concept note on the organization of the training program on policy development and legal reform implementation.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, 9 December 2025, at the headquarters of the Legal Reform Committee, H.E. LY Chantola, Deputy Chairman and Secretary General of the LRC and Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers, accompanied by H.E. PEN Bunchhea, Deputy Secretary-General of the LRC, and Legal Specialists of the LRC, attended a discussion meeting on the draft concept note regarding the organization of a training course on policy development and the implementation of legal reform. The meeting was held with Ms. Sandra Martinovic, Second Secretary in charge of Development Cooperation at the Australian Embassy in Cambodia, accompanied by Mr. Michael Sadlon, Manager of the Australia Awards Program Team, and the Program and Budget Manager of the Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh, as well as Officer of the General Secretariate of Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of Pentagonal Strategy-Phase 1 on policy development and legal reform in practice.
The meeting aimed to identify the training provider and course implementation support, present an overview of the training proposal, confirm the schedule for the four-day course, and determine the list of participants.
